What: Enjoy a guided walking and tasting tour of unique Philadelphia chocolate shops and cafes on a Philadelphia Chocolate Tour. Learn about the history and health benefits of chocolate, and the history of the city of Philadelphia and the neighborhoods we visit, as you savor America's favorite flavor, and walk off the calories. Let us give you a private tour as a scrumptious outing for your family, office, bridal party, or other group. Or, join a public tour and make new chocolate-loving friends!

When: Saturdays at 2:45 pm and Sundays at 11:45 am.

The tours are 2 1/2 to 3 hours long.

Route: Our route goes through the vibrant Center City and Rittenhouse neighborhoods, visiting Famous 4th Street Cookie Company, Marcie Blaine Artisanal Chocolates, Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland, Miel Patisserie (Saturdays, replaced with other chocolate goodies Sundays), Brown Betty Petite (Saturdays) or Philly Cupcake (Sundays), and Capogiro Gelato. The route is subject to change due to store hours, etc. Walking level: intermediate. Click for links to our participating stores and other stores we love. Meet: Meet at Reading Terminal Market, at 12th Street and Filbert, outside under the Reading Terminal sign, across from Maggiano's and the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown (map).

Cost: $40 per person for a public tour, $50 per person for a private tour. (Prices include chocolate!) Group rates are available. Advance registration is required.
